Explore real RV trips
Curated sample itineraries with real campgrounds, mileage, and stops. Browse freely. When you're ready, plan your own.
Every trip below is a real route a real RV could drive. Campgrounds are existing public or private sites pulled from Recreation.gov, KOA, Harvest Hosts, and verified state-park listings. Mileage and drive times come from the same routing engine Milepost uses to plan your own trips, so what you see is what you'd get.
The trips lean toward shorter daily drives, mostly 200 to 330 miles, because long days behind the wheel of a 30 foot rig burn the back end of the trip. Each itinerary keeps mid-afternoon arrivals as the goal: time to level the rig, set up the awning, and walk down to whatever's nearby before dinner. If a day pushes past comfortable RV hours, you'll see a quiet flag, not a popup.
Use these as starting points. Fork one into your own draft, swap a campground for somewhere you've been wanting to try, shift the dates to match your reservation window. Past trips in Milepost stay readable forever, so you can come back to a route from two summers ago and see exactly what worked.
